We just spent a weekend at the Sandals unit on Butler St. It was a great location, nice and private, and very quiet (with the windows closed and A/C running) - great to just walk down your stairs and be right in the center of everything. The reserved parking was nice, too, given how busy town can be during the summer months. The unit itself could use a little refreshing - while spacious, the dirty carpet leading up the stairs, the kitchen cabinet door hanging off the hinges and not closing, the stained towel in the bathroom, and the shower door needing a major cleaning/replacement did detract from the charm of the unit. The shower head was about chin height, too, which is fun if you're tall. We ended up not using the kitchen - there was a strange white powdery coating in the oven (maybe left-over cleaner that was never finished??) and the cooking utensils were limited - which was okay since there are some great breakfast places in the area. The mattress and pillows could definitely use replacement. A door into the retail store below the unit opens into the private stairway for the Sandals unit, which was a little unnerving from a security perspective - there was a small lock on our side of the door, but it was just a little weird. When the store is open, you can hear the music in the Sandals unit, but since we were gone most of the day, it really wasn't a bother, at all. Having a code for the unit's lock was nice, too, so you didn't have to remember to take a key. I think with a little refreshing, this unit would be perfect and well worth the cost. If you're very particular, this may not be the best unit for you, but if you want something close to everything, private and quiet, check it out!
This was a really beautiful, spacious and comfortable condo. We were 3 friends, each had a comfortable room. Location is great with a restaurant downstairs and main street around the corner. I would caution that the designated parking spot is in the alley of the entrance, and parking is TIGHT! 2 of us had to guide the other driving a standard SUV to fit in, and upon exiting down the narrow lane scraped the car on the base of a plant while trying to avoid another parked car. There is a parking lot around the corner, but they charged on the weekends - so otherwise parking is street availability. Kitchen is reasonably stocked, but coffee machine instructions would have been helpful. The patio is exceptional - spacious, beautiful view of the water, comfortable. Tiny complaint was no tissues in bedrooms/baths or paper towels. Also, although not the fault of this owner, the house behind ours hosted a very obnoxious group of men who continued their loud pool party into the wee hours of the morning. This is not a college party town, would expect more care and preparation of acceptable behaviors for potential renters. Town is super cute, lots of restaurants, lots of shops, lots of cycling/hiking/beach activities. I would definitely recommend Saugatuck and specifically this condo.
My husband and I stayed at one of their suites on Butler Street and absolutely loved it!! The location couldn't be better - you are in the middle of all shopping and restaurants and barely one block from the water. The room was incredible - everything from the modern decor to the amenities which included the usual toiletries, hair dryer, and coffee maker, but also a kitchenette with complimentary bottled water and snacks. We stayed in the Piedmont room which was spacious and on the main floor with access to your own private patio area in the alley. Sounds scary, but it's not that kind of alley. It's a narrow path between the main suites and the Bella Vita office and it's decorated really cute with a paved walk way lined with plants. It was also super convenient when leaving for the day or doing a quick coffee and muffin run at Pumpernickel's just down the street. And absolutely loved the king size bed which was incredibly comfortable. If you're not a bed and breakfast kind of person and want to be steps from everything, this is the place to stay in Saugatuck.

I have never been more in love! Almost everything exceeded my expectations. My husband and I had a short stay but can't wait to go back. The room, staff and accommodations were beyond superb.
We rented the beachfront property of 210 Lakeshore Dr and it completely exceeded our expectations! It did not feel like a rental property at all. Beautiful home with a large open kitchen/dining/den space that encouraged mingling and socializing but still gave everyone plenty of elbow room, comfortable beds with soft linens, and everything was very clean! The outdoor decks were perfect for lounging and the fire pit by the beach was the ideal way to end each day. Sandy bottom beach with clear water, too! We would definitely return to this property. Thanks also to those who rent the property for their prompt and courteous customer service. (The only downside was that the website photos for this property take a while to load up. That said, the photos are nice but don't do the place justice - it's so much nicer!)
